There is one thing that every human being on this planet has in common, that being we have all entered the state of dreaming in our lives. After all, we all spend nearly one third of our lives asleep, there has to be some dreaming involved! Dreaming is one of the few subjects that has baffled many over the years. Philosophers, scientists, and even psychologists have always had their own opinions about why we dream.
Some say that dreams serve absolutely no purpose, while others believe that dreams are a way that our minds relax and unwind and that by having dreams, our brains are meeting an essential quota that helps our mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Freud was a huge fan of dream research and had many theories about dreams. He believed that dreams were a way we expressed what our subconscious was thinking without ever having to say it. He felt that all of our emotional and sexual fantasies played out in our dreams.
Whatever the reason, when know that by sleeping, we take the time to calm and relax our tired brains and bodies. The proper bed and pillows are a great way to turn our dreams into a state of well being and happiness.
